叶黄素 Lutein
叶黄素(lutein)属于类胡萝卜素，又名“植物黄体素”，在自然界中与玉米黄素共同存在。叶黄素与玉米黄素是构成蔬菜、水果、花卉等植物色素的主要组分，也是构成人眼视网膜黄斑区域的主要色素。人眼含有高量的叶黄素，这种元素是人体无法制造的，必须靠摄入叶黄素来补充，若缺乏这种元素，就会造成眼睛失明。
叶黄素能够延缓老年人因黄斑退化而引起的视力退化和失明症，降低患白内障的几率，预防人体因器官衰老引起的心血管硬化、冠心病和肿瘤疾病等一系列疾病，还可预防细胞衰老。叶黄素作为食品营养补充剂和抗氧化剂正开始应用在食品、保健、医药、化妆品、饲料等等行业中。
叶黄素在甘蓝、羽衣甘蓝、菠菜等深绿色叶菜以及金盏花、万寿菊等花卉中含量高，万寿菊原产墨西哥，含有丰富的叶黄素，我公司采用先进的加工工艺，选用优质万寿菊干花颗粒为原料，经精制获得高品质的叶黄素作为食品级添加剂或饲料添加剂。目前我公司可提供1.5%，2.0%，5%、10%、20%、40%、80％、90%、95%、98%等不同含量等级的叶黄素产品。
Lutein
is a carotenoid, meaning a natural colorant or pigment, found in dark green leafy vegetables such as spinach, egg yolks, various fruits and corn. Lutein is the active carotenoid in this potent, natural source antioxidant. It is naturally derived from marigold flowers and contains a normal blend of carotenoids including zeaxanthin and cryptoxanthin. Lutein also filters the high energy blue wavelengths of light from the visible light spectrum.

植物来源:白毛夏枯草 Ajuga decumbus 青兰 Dracocephalum integrifolium 忍冬科忍冬 Lonicera japonica Thunb. 来源：豆科植物落花生Arachis hypogata L.果实外壳,唇形科植物筋骨草 Ajuga decumbens Thunb的提取物。

熔点及溶解度：328°C－330°C，微溶入水，溶于碱溶液（一水合物）
